The property's amenities include the Tango Mar Spa & Yoga, spring-fed swimming pool, tennis courts, and nine-hole Executive Golf Course. Two private beaches have over a mile of sand for walking and sunbathing. Venture along the cliffs to the Mirador for a breathtaking panorama. Then explore the coastline and sign-posted nature trail on a visit to a nearby 40-foot waterfall. Tango Mar has its own quality horses and stables. You can ride into the jungle, across rivers and valleys, and into local villages. Exhilarating snorkeling and scuba adventures are to be found among the reefs off nearby Tortuga Island. Sailing excursions may also be arranged.

For dining, international gourmet cuisine and Costa Rican specialties are carefully prepared by master chefs. Breakfast and dinner are served at the Cristobal Restaurant, overlooking the ocean. Each of the 18 beachfront hotel rooms has a view of the Pacific from its private balcony. Rooms feature two queen-size beds, tropical-style furniture, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, minibars, coffeemakers, safes, satellite TV, telephones, and private bathrooms with hot water and large showers. The rooms are so close to the ocean that in high tide the surf touches the base of the building. The 12 hilltop Tropical Suites are surrounded by tropical gardens on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. Elegantly appointed, each suite is graced with a hand-carved four-post canopy king-size bed and Jacuzzi bath. There are also five Tiki Suites, which are Polynesian-style wood and bamboo cabanas on stilts.
